Reality shows, like the garbage that MTV puts out is definitely not my cup of tea. I actually wish MTV would go back to their title: music.
But I understand why they do it. First, it’s probably inexpensive to put out these types of television shows. Second, unfortunately there is an audience for this brain rot and MTV recognizes it.
I suppose there is something a little intriguing about watching the social orangutans like those on Jersey Shore. I never watched myself, but I imagine it’s like watching Mike Judge’s film, “Idiocracy”.
I was surfing the net and found an MTV interview with this guy who calls himself “Pauly D”. He appears to be what we called in my day, a cool guy who is really wrapped up in the superficialities of life.
